The item works great. It was a little tough to figure out how to put in and take out batteries at first but after a short while I got it down. It is now a part of my keychain and aids me on the nights when it is raining enough that a regular flashlight just won't do. And as I spend a lot of time outdoors, it helps out a great deal.
