What a difference a cup makes! I have been trying to equip my desk at work with the right coffee-maker for years, and the quest has made me feel not unlike Goldilocks! The big machines are toooo big, and the small ones are tooooo ... well, I have tried one 4-cup machine after the other, and each has been in some way annoyingly inadequate. But this 5-cup machine ... what a delightful device! None of its parts sticks (it makes me see red not to be able to remove the brewing basket without a knock-down-drag-out fight!), it makes verrry tasty hot coffee, its controls are a breeze to operate, and the handle ... the handle! It accommodates one's hand in the most satisfying fashion, unlike those of the 4-cup machines, into which one may squeeze but two or three fingers (I realize this may seem a niggling little consideration, but in an appliance one uses nearly every day it can be SO important!) In fact, I adore this machine so much, I am considering ordering a few more to put in the closet against the day mine goes to Coffee Maker Heaven!
