I bought this doll house for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas, and bought the Barbie Dream House for my 3 year old daughter at the same time. This KidKraft house is much better in quality and appearance. It is well constructed and my daughters play with it for hours while the Barbie house had parts fall apart before it was even built and sits unused. This Glamour house is fantastic! Definitely worth the money!!

My sister and I put this together in about 1 hour on Christmas Eve, while watching Harry Potter. It was easy assembly, sturdy house, and the furniture is very solid. One itsy problem, one of the chandeliers arrived with a broken stem and the wires were exposed. We tried to do an X-mas eve repair job, but it didn't hold. So, one room has no chandelier, but my 2 daughters (4 and 6 y/o) don't really miss it. (And it is not high on my priority list to make a fuss.) All the other special features work fine and are being well-used. They have had a good time playing with the house and it is now the place where all the Barbie/Disney dolls and Ponies and Pet Shop pets all live. To see my girls playing together in harmony is worth the money we spent for the dollhouse.

This is a precious doll house! It is much bigger than it looks in the picture, so it really made a big impression on our six year old. She really likes Barbie dolls now and with the large rooms, it makes it easy to play.

My daughter is my little pony lover and when she saw a doll house at toys r us she wanted it for a pony house. Well they where out even in the warehouse. So I came home, got online, and found this one right away. I ordered it and was worried she wouldn't like it as much. It was here fast it cost less than the other. It's easy to put together and she loved it. She has played with it everyday since Christmas. We were worried about her banging her ponies on the boards of the house, that it would pull the paper/paint off but it has not and I would buy another one if I needed it.
