This is an unusual item, but you can't deny Cold Steel's quality. This thing is sturdy. It's also heavier than I expected, which means when you tag a target, you really tag a target. Do to its weight and heft, I recommend a solid wood target surface as it just mauls up plywood and such. You will also need to adjust your throwing style. The Torpedo throws a lot more like an axe than it does a knife.

Gino R. from Ft. Lauderdale, FL

It is heavier than I thought, therefore it is easier to throw as an ax or knife. It also works with a no-spin throw but it requires lots of practice. I think It was designed to be thrown no-spin.

Gino R. from Ft Lauderdale, FL

I have a similar one but its 7", not 15" Therefore I think it was designed to be thrown like an ax.
