Product Description
The Pentagon sets the policy for action. Designed as backup for military and law enforcement, the Pentagon is the first multipurpose, double edged knife of its kind. The 5" stainless steel blade offers the instant choice between a serrated or beveled edge, giving you the best of both worlds for cutting virtually any material. Thumb notches on the blade enable accurate blade orientation and downward control. The flared, wrap-around, checkered Kraton handle provides an optimal grip while maintaining a low profile signature for concealment. The Pentagon comes in a Kydex scabbard with a heavy duty, subdued clip and belt loop that allows the Pentagon to be mounted in a variety of ways.
A compact version of the Pentagon, the SOG Mini Pentagon, has all the benefits of its big brother as well as a powder coated blade that reduces reflection. Extremely lightweight, the Mini Pentagon features a glass-reinforced Zytel handle that provides sensational feel and balance. It can be carried conveniently in its waterproof Kydex sheath with bootclip.

Everett E. from Pendleton, ORI'm an infantryman in the United States Marine Corps and I have a lot of knives at my disposal. The SOG mini pentagon that I purchased went above and beyond my expectations. Its small size is perfect for wear on my flak jacket or LBV. The serrated edge is perfect for cutting ropes, MRE's, etc. The straight edge is the sharpest I have found on any of the fixed blades that I own.

Rebecca T. from Modesto, CAI'm very pleased with the Mini Pentagon. I've cut through almost everything with it and the blade is still as sharp as the first day I got it! I even used it to cut through 2 inches of solid plastic! It's very well balanced and feels good in my hand when I am using it. The grip allows me to have excellent control over the blades movements no matter what I am doing. The Kydex sheath is very tough, and the clip as well. The only down side is I bought this knife to go in my boot and it doesn't work! The Kydex sheath doesn't have a strong enough clip to hold on to my boot, so the whole thing keeps on slipping out. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars. Excellent knife, but they shouldn't advertise it in the boot knife category.
