Product Description
The RZ100 is for those that don't want a plane square box on their vehicle's roof. The RZ100 is all about style and function. Curved corners, tapered shape and two tone black/graphite add a touch of class when you are packing gear to go. The hot RED piping adds the perfect accent. The RZ100 is 43" long, 16" high and a tapered width 44-29". It holds 15 cu ft, which is about the size of a medium car trunk. Other quality features include padded side handles, urethane coated zipper to keep the water out and strap guides to hold the secure and easy to use StrapRight straps into place. Includes FREE nylon stuff sack.

Waterproof, weather resistant what's the deal? There are technical definitions, but for us it means driving your car for hours at highway speed in a fierce rain storm and your gear stays dry in a car top carrier. Weather resistant is a cop out. If you read 'weather resistant' on any car top carrier product, know your stuff is going to get wet. Waterproof... many car top carrier companies lie. Plastic material or simply a flap over the zipper won't keep the water out. LakelandGear uses the fold and bed closure with Classic, just like white water rafting bags. We use ZipRight in the Sport, a special urethane coated zipper located in the flap, not under it. We offer liners with taped seams. We know some water may get into our stitched bags. Our carriers take the force of 70mph rain, the liner inside protects gear from any water that may seep in. It works we know it from testing. We also offer carriers with RF welded seams and heavy tarpaulin material. That keeps water out, but only because we pair it with urethane coated dual zipper systems. NOBODY makes waterproof carriers as well as we do. Some compare our carrier systems to a duck's butt in a pond "no water gets in."
