I bought this item for my daughter, her 3 yr old and her baby to come. Her 3 yr old fell asleep in it the 1st week. He claimed it as his own right away. The husband attached it to a ceiling brace to save much needed floor space. It is low enough for the 3 yr old to safely get in by himself. Needless to say, they love it.
