The Northwest Ranger is designed for the outdoor rigors it may encounter. With an elongated clip point blade, flat ground bevels and SOG's world famous sharpness, the NW Ranger won't let you down. This is a working knife that utilizes a small serrated section on the blade to increase the cutting power on fibrous material such as animal cartilage or nylon rope.
SOG is renowned for the comfortable feel, exceptional balance and ergonomically designed handles on its products. The NW Ranger is no exception as it features a wrap-around, checkered Kraton handle for a non-slip grip when dry, wet or in the process of dressing out game. In combination with the thumb notches on the back of the blade, the handle provides maximum control for fine or course work. Its black leather scabbard provides a friction fit for secure carry. Combine all of these advantages and the result is a truly exceptional and essential outdoor companion.
