The knives were so popular that Joseph Gerber left his advertising agency to start Gerber Legendary Blades®. In fact, Gerber Legendary Blades are the only cutlery on display in New York’s famous Museum of Modern Art.

From very early on, Gerber collaborated with top knife designers, setting a standard of quality for everyone else to follow. My husband and I are pan fishermen and we catch a lot of bluegill and crappie. He fillets the fish. We were having trouble finding a knife small enough that held its edge for this job. He's probably cleaned 50-75 fish and so far its been great!
