The liner lock engages well and there is no play. It is a great shaped blade and has a very comfortable handle. For the money, you can not beat it as an every day knife. If it got abused a little it could be resharpened.

This knife isn't the thinest knife that I have owned, but it's width makes for a very comfortable feel. The Tanto blade with no serrations make it a very handy knife.

Nice knife for the price. It is a bit heavy and chunky, but that makes it easier to hold and find, especially in the dark, or with cold hands. I particularly enjoyed the "trigger" (not sure the proper name for it). It helps when trying to open it with one hand, especially with numb fingers. The blade is nice, and good for general purpose use. (screwdriver, prying stuff, digging, and cutting things).
