It's a great size, large enough to get a good grip when cutting something tough, yet fits well in my pocket. It sharpens up nice and holds a good edge. This past Christmas my son let it be known that a pocket knife was on his wish list. When my wife asked what style, his responce was "just like Dad's". We were happy to oblige.
