This pocket knife is just the right size, and has the essential tools for day-to-day use. I've tried other brands, but the steel on the Victorinox seems to hold its edge longer.

I absolutely love this knife. I had a Spartan in college (~20yrs ago) that I lost years ago and have had several different versions/brands of Swiss Army knife in the meanwhile. They are now the property of TSA (I am so accustomed to having a knife in my pocket - no evil intent). Getting another Spartan was like getting an old friend back - the perfect knife. The other knives that I had didn't have the perfect combination of functionality in such a convenient package. The can opener is superior, the small tip on the can opener fits Phillips screws (a feature missing on a Wenger that I had). Two blades. Corkscrew. Toothpick (to my wife's chagrin). And so on. Very conveniently fits into one's pocket, built to last, super functional, very reasonably priced.
