I bought this knife for utility use. It has a good balance and feel in the hand. The wharncliffe style blade functions as I want it to. I would like to see this knife offered with a micarta, or kraton/hard rubber type handle. That would give it a smoother feel and get it a little farther out of the kithcen/home and into the woods or field. Otherwise this knife is a bargain!
