I bought this for a lady friend. She loves it. It is almost feather-light, as well as both strong and durable. This is an attractive walking stick or cane. Only one problem: The "rubber" ferrule or tip is made of a hard, smooth, thin, shiny and slippery plastic, perhaps polyethylene. Considering the overall quality (and price) of this cane, this shabby detail is deplorable. I immediately got a decent after-market ferrule for this cane. (The original tip had to be cut off.) The results are a perfect cane.
